Inland Real Estate Corporation (“IRC”) has an ownership interest in approximately 15 million square feet of market dominant shopping centers and the platform is growing. We have the largest shopping center portfolio in the Chicago and Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan areas, two of the top U.S. markets. And we are expanding further throughout the Central U.S. and into the Southeast. These markets have high barriers to entry and robust demographics that showcase dense populations, diverse trade areas and above average incomes. You will find our assets typically located at the “Main & Main” intersections of our selected markets.

Our tenants specialize in value and everyday goods and services. In fact, IRC shopping centers with a grocer component comprise over approximately 50% of total retail GLA. IRC tenants are market-leading grocers like Jewel-Osco, Kroger and Whole Foods as well as national brand discount retailers such as TJ Maxx and Ross Dress for Less. Our tenants comprise of a diverse blend of successful franchise owners, as well as regional and local operators.

The IRC senior management team averages more than 25 years in the shopping center business. Our market concentration affords leasing flexibility and management expertise when discussing new store opportunities with retailers expanding to our primary markets or those retailers expanding from within our portfolio. We apply this experience and market leadership to all phases of leasing, asset management, acquisitions and development.
